Running for Congress is a busy job. I don’t have a lot of time in my day because I’m usually busy talking to Oregonians about what issues are on their mind (see below!).

But I just got out of a meeting with my Finance Director Alma, and I wanted to reach out to you personally. We are just $692 away from closing our fundraising gap, and if we reach our goal, we’ll be back on track with our fundraising. This is such a crucial time for our campaign – we have only four months left in this election – and we can’t afford to lose any ground.

I hate to ask you for money. It’s my least favorite part of my job. But here’s the truth: if we can’t keep up our momentum, we could have to make tough decisions about budget cuts. Important investments like TV ads, mailers, and even supplies like fliers for volunteers could be at risk.
