Friend,

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a fighter…

As a little girl, my family fled communist North Korea while the Korean War raged around us. My parents were determined that regardless of the struggles we had faced, I would get a chance to live the American Dream.

I'm an immigrant

Getting to the U.S. was not easy, and once here, I still had to overcome countless obstacles, charting a path to where I am today: one of the first Korean-American members of Congress.

I'm a trailblazer

My mother owned a humble clothing store in California yet was constantly crushed by overbearing tax regulations. I built a coalition of community members and was elected to the State Board of Equalization - the nation’s only elected tax board – where I represented more than nine million California residents.

I'm an advocate

Now I am a member of Congress. I listened to the voters, and together we defied every prediction and flipped our district from Democrat to Republican.

I'm a fighter

Unsurprisingly, the radical left is after me. They are trying to unseat me in the MOST IMPORTANT election of the year..

I am a woman, a conservative, and an immigrant. I have spent my whole life fighting, but now I need your help. Washington liberals know how much is at stake and will do anything to stop me.

Can you chip in any amount today to save my seat and let me keep fighting for you?

Michelle Steel here. My story is like many Americans, it’s an immigrant story.

Growing up, I heard of the horrors of communism from my parents, who had fled North Korea. We didn’t have much growing up, but I worked hard and learned English, making it my third language. My mom and dad encouraged me to dream of a better life – and I did. I became an American.

I’ve spent my whole life fighting for the American Dream, and I won’t stop. But now, Friend, that dream is under attack. And if we don’t keep up with the Democrats, there’s no chance to win back the House Majority.

Please consider chipping in just a few dollars today to help me in this must-win battleground race.

If we don’t act now, the American Dream may be lost forever.
And I think you agree that America is worth fighting for.
