Here are a few of your stories from Pride.

** Friend,
------------------------------------------------------------

We checked in with you last week to ask, how was your Pride? We’re so thankful to everyone who shared their story with us! Here’s what a few of you told us:
I celebrated by volunteering for a bunch of Pride events.
I love standing along the parade route during Pride. I hold my partner's hand on one side and my best friend's on the other. I'm blind, so my first impressions are sound and vibration and emotion. I'm energized by the dancing and laughter of the crowd and by feeling so many warm, accepting, supportive humans around me.
My time was a time of happiness, pain, and healing. I processed a lot, thought about my identity and how not understanding it has hurt me, and I thought about what I wanted from life.
My Pride experience was even more special this year recognizing how our community has been challenged and threatened. But, together we are making our chapter of history protecting the right to love for generations to come. I take pride in living an authentic life that is committed to truth and love.
It was strange. We had SIX full size Pride flags stolen from our home in two weeks in June. We have received so much support. Many of our neighbors came and got small Pride flags I bought and flew them in support of us. Then the other day the mayor of our town showed up and brought us TWO new flags and a new flagpole. I'm so thankful. The thieves may have stolen our flags, but the light and love we have received as a result has been incredible.

Pride and self-acceptance are a journey. Thanks to caring people like you, no matter where someone is on that journey we support them. We’re here 24/7/365 — listening with compassion and communicating with empathy. If you are struggling, know that we are always here for you. Reach a counselor now. ([link removed])
