Our state Attorney General, Austin Knudsen, is already pushing the Montana Supreme Court to overturn the abortion protections listed in our state constitution. And we know if Montana Republicans gain a supermajority in the state house, they will try to change the constitution to ban abortion.
A state representative right here in Montana, Brad Tschida emailed his fellow legislators saying “a woman’s uterus serves no specific purpose to her life or well-being.” This is utterly false, not to mention he felt this message resonated because he heard it on a podcast. These people could have the power to rewrite our constitution if we don’t win in November.
