Our next public fundraising deadline since Roe v. Wade was overturned is this coming Monday, July 18. Here’s why that’s important:
- After we file our report, our year-to-date fundraising numbers will be made public for the first time since Roe v. Wade was overturned.
- The media and our opponents will be waiting to dig through our filing the moment it’s available to gauge the strength of our campaign.
Keith had the closest statewide race in Minnesota in 2018, so all eyes will be on us, and one of only two stories will be written.
We either reach our public deadline goal and prove that we have the momentum to win. Or, we come up short and look vulnerable, which could trigger an overwhelming wave of GOP super PAC-funded attack ads against Keith.
The bottom line? This Monday’s deadline is the most critical test our campaign has faced to date. And if we don’t see a surge in support over the next three days, we will come up short.
