The mainstream media has a knack for not telling Americans the full story about what’s really happening in our own country. Often, we’re left with more questions than answers. This is flat out wrong. One of the most monumental issues facing our country today is border security, and I firmly believe that you deserve to receive, and know, more than the crumbs of information that are circulating throughout the media right now. Allow me to explain.

Since President Biden took office, close to three million illegal aliens have been apprehended at the southern border – and they are from 160 different countries across the world. According to a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies, this administration has allowed one million illegal aliens to settle in the United States since January of last year. The Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) estimates that 239,416 encounters with illegal aliens were recorded this past May. Now, consider the following facts:

• This is the highest in CBP’s 22-year record for monthly crossings and the second month in a row for this record high.
  
• That is up 32% from May 2021.
  
• That is a 930% increase from 2020.
  
• One fourth of those individuals had at least one prior encounter with CBP agents in the previous 12 months.

We must not forget about the 50 people on the Terrorist Screening Database who attempted to cross the southern border, and the 700,000 known “gotaways” who evaded CBP agents since President Biden took office. In our nation’s history, there has never been a catastrophe of this size and scope at our southern border. Let me be clear, a country without secure borders is not a country, and border security is national security. I will continue to provide you with the facts so that you are up to date on what’s really happening – and what the mainstream media won’t tell you.

New Scam Alert

Across North Carolina, law enforcement agencies are warning of a new text messaging scam that threatens to steal your hard-earned money. It involves solicitations from unknown numbers to buy t-shirts in support of local police departments. These text messages contain a link to a third-party site where a victim inputs their personal, sensitive information to purchase a shirt. This scam has been flagged by multiple police agencies across the state, but these text messages continue to be sent out.
