I have a few free minutes today, folks, and I want to update you on what I’ve been working on in the Senate and on the campaign trail. We’ve sure been busy.

I was proud to celebrate the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act earlier this week at the White House. I was part of the small group of Senators who negotiated this important legislation for our country. Getting to engage on a bill that will directly save lives was an honor. Still, there is more work to be done. I won’t stop working to enact common-sense gun reforms and put an end to needless, preventable gun violence.

We’re also working in Congress to pass a reconciliation bill that will lower skyrocketing prescription drug prices. Times are tough and we need to do everything possible to cut down critical costs for New Mexicans and folks across the country.

On the ground in New Mexico, my campaign has been hard at work supporting candidates for every level of government as we get closer to Election Day. It’s never been more important to elect strong state and local leaders in New Mexico, that’s especially true with reproductive rights under attack.

This kind of work is why your grassroots support is so crucial. Your contributions will help keep me fighting for you in the U.S. Senate, protect our Democratic majority, and elect strong Democrats up and down the ballot at a time when we need them most.

That’s why I’m hoping you’ll chip in $10 or more today before our campaign’s mid-month deadline expires on Saturday. If 1 in 3 folks reading this email donates, we’ll be on track to meet it. Will you be one of the grassroots donors we’re counting on to power our work?

Thank you for your support.
