The January 6th Committee’s televised hearings are proving that Trump actively tried to overthrow the 2020 election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power, inciting an insurrection and violent attack on the U.S. Capitol.
We’ve seen enough. It's time to charge him, and put him on trial.
In fact, a recent poll revealed that nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe Trump should be charged with a crime for his role in the January 6th insurrection. And there’s more than enough evidence to do so. So what’s the holdup? Time is especially important, given that Republicans will no doubt shut down the investigation if they take back Congress in November.
