Here's the truth: Fridays are usually the slowest day of the week for our online digital fundraising — especially in the summer.

It makes sense. Most people are focused on their weekend plans, unwinding from a busy week... whatever it may be, it's usually not political campaign emails.

We definitely understand that — but this Friday is an important one, and this is an important one of those emails. Here's why:

At midnight tonight, we'll be halfway through July, and our fundraising numbers are pacing short of where we need to be for the month. So we're launching a mid-month grassroots fundraising drive this morning to try and close the gap before then. One day to give it all we've got and catch up.

Alessandra relies on lots and lots of people-powered donations, not corporate PACs, and that means we really can't afford to come up short of our goals. Especially not with less than 6 weeks to go until Election Day.
