I wanted to reach out again before our fundraising deadline tonight. Because we’re all expecting – unfortunately – some truly eye-popping numbers from Republicans.

That’s because tonight, the Federal Election Commission will publish all federal campaign fundraising reports covering the last three months.

These numbers are important. And I’m sure you’re hearing from a lot of campaigns on them. They show which races are being hotly contested, and who has the momentum between Democrats and Republicans going into November. Super PACs and special interests make decisions about where their dollars can be most effective based on it.

Since this is the final FEC report that will be released until October, it’s critical that we have a strong response today to put us on a path to keeping our House majority this November. If you’ve been following the news, you understand why our democracy may depend on the result. We just can’t let the Republicans take over.

So John, I’m asking:

Can you pitch in $10, $25, or more to reach today’s mid-month fundraising goal and keep up our momentum in this new FEC quarter?
