With today’s 24-hour news cycle, it can be all-too-easy for critical issues to fall off our radar. It’s only been 3 weeks since Donald Trump's Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, and the consequences of that decision are already being felt in red states.
 
Some folks in California or New York may think they have nothing to worry about, but here’s the blunt truth about this ruling: If the GOP takes the House, Kevin McCarthy and his far-right loyalists will try to put up a bill criminalizing abortion in all 50 states. 
 
These are the very real stakes of McCarthy getting the gavel, John.
