I’m watching these January 6 hearings right now and I’m absolutely disgusted.
By now, it’s abundantly clear that Donald Trump and the Congressional Treason Caucus planned and executed this deadly coup attempt knowing full well that the American people had fairly and democratically chosen Joe Biden to replace him as President, and that the election had not been “stolen.”
I think it’s long past time to ARREST Trump and his collaborators! But at the very least, according to the 14 th Amendment, not one of them belongs anywhere near the halls of power in Washington:
“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” – U.S. Constitution, 14 th Amendment, Section 3
Now, I may not agree with anything Liz Cheney believes politically, but she brought receipts today and she named names, and what do you know – the GQP members of Congress present at the December 21 White House meeting to plan the coup attempt read like a who’s who list of the same members of the Treason Caucus I’ve been sounding the alarm about since 2020!

I’m hopeful that these hearings are leading up to the Department of Justice doing the right thing and throwing the folks responsible for this behind bars , starting with Donald Trump.
But regardless of what the DOJ does or doesn’t do, it’s up to you and me to make sure the Treason Caucus never again darkens the doorstep of the Capitol after the upcoming midterm elections.
