Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has filed a motion in federal court fighting a subpoena to testify in a Georgia special grand jury investigation into alleged efforts to overturn the state's 2020 presidential election results, claiming the subpoena is politically motivated and would set a dangerous precedent for members of Congress.
– Fox News, 7/13/2022
John,

A subpoena has been issued to Senator Graham by a Democrat prosecutor in Georgia investigating the 2020 elections. The prosecutor's office has assured the senator he is not a target or subject of the investigation, merely a witness.

Democrats are on a political fishing expedition. That's why Senator Graham has filed a motion in federal court to quash the subpoena.

In 2020, Senator Graham was Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Congress was on the verge of certifying the presidential election. It was completely appropriate that he was asking questions about the mail-in ballot process in Georgia.

If Democrats have their way, they could set a DANGEROUS precedent that members of Congress are not allowed to ask tough questions. After all, Senator Graham's duties are protected by the Constitution.

Just this week, a Trump-appointed judge quashed a subpoena of Nancy Pelosi citing the Speech and Debate clause, which the judge said was "absolute." Despite what liberal pundits may argue, if the Constitution works for Speaker Pelosi, it should work for Senator Graham too.

John, our goal is to win in court – not on MSNBC, but we need your help.

Will you stand with Senator Graham?

Multiple news reports have publicly noted the prosecutor in Georgia is working with the January 6 Committee in Washington. Even the local paper, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, noted the ties between the two. This effort is coming from an elected Democrat prosecutor in a county where Joe Biden won over 70 percent of the vote.

It's clear that this subpoena is politically motivated.

We know we'll never win over the liberal pundits on MSNBC; we don't need to. MSNBC can continue to conduct "exclusive interviews" with the Democrat prosecutor like they did last week.

However, the law is on Senator Graham's side.

John, will you stand by Senator Graham's side during this important fight? It won't be cheap or easy, but it's time to push back against the partisan fishing expeditions being used to score political points.

Thanks,

Team Graham
