The Village's current road improvement program has been put on hold as a result of a strike against material producers. It is not known when work will resume, however impacted roads are open.
The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150 is on strike against three companies with quarries and other construction materials sites in northern Illinois.
This strike directly impacts the Village's ability to source the necessary materials to complete road improvements. As a result, road projects scheduled to be completed this summer have been suspended.?

Tickets on sale now for July 23 concert
Rock out to Bon Jovi tunes and 80s favorites with family and friends on Saturday, July 23? at Venue 1012. Coverlicious will open the evening at 6:30 p.m. with a high energy performance spanning several decades with pop, rock and dance hits. Headliner Bad Medicine, a Bon Jovi tribute band, will light up the stage from 8:30-10:30 p.m. with hot hits such as Livin' on a Prayer, Runaway and You Give Love a Bad Name.
Cold beer from Oswego Brewing Co., wine from Fox Valley Winery, White Claws and soda will be available for purchase, as well as custom brick oven pizzas, smoked BBQ sandwiches, funnel cakes and homemade potato chips. Outside food and beverage is not permitted.
