"And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."

- Romans: 5:5

Africa
- Thank you for your prayers for the ongoing trial in Kenya for the murder of IJM staff and a client in 2016. The case was scheduled to proceed on November 25, but one of the five accused was recovering from surgery and requested postponement. The trial will resume in February. Please continue praying for the family of the deceased and for IJM staff to have patience as they wait for justice to be done.
Latin America
- Please pray for continued health and effective collaboration between IJM Guatemala and our grassroot partners, as we continue serving survivors of sexual violence and their families. Pray for emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual strength as we relentlessly work together to best serve people who are vulnerable to violence. South Asia
- Praise God for a series of survivor aftercare graduations that took place just last week. One of our offices celebrated 16 young women who completed trauma-focused therapy and have overcome their experiences of sex trafficking. In another office, nearly 200 survivors of bonded labor slavery celebrated their restoration in their home villages and can now live confidently with less risk of re-exploitation. Please pray that all of these survivors would continue to live joyfully in freedom, and praise God for the diligent aftercare staff and partners who helped these survivors heal!

Southeast Asia
- Please pray for the outcomes of this week's aftercare assembly in Cebu. IJM's team in Cebu invited all of our aftercare partners to gather together in Mindanao on December 2-5 to discuss how to continue improving aftercare services for survivors of cybersex trafficking. This was the first time that all our partners have been together. Praise God for a fruitful assembly and pray with us for productive outcomes that benefit and serve our survivors.

IJM HQ & Global Partners
IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has
international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the
Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

- Please pray for the IJM campus chapter student leaders as they end their semester. Ask God to give these students perseverance as they finish their studies, and creativity as they raise awareness of injustice and mobilize their peers to take action.
