We've seen temperatures rising lately and while it's lovely to bask in the glorious sunshine, please take care of yourselves. Remember when working out in the heat to try and:

  • Stay in the shade
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Don't be tempted to cool off in rivers and open water (view our safety video)
  • Drink plenty of fluids

Fitness Classes of the Month

  • Clifton & Southglade Leisure Centre  - Group Cycling
    • Group Cycling sessions start from beginner to intermediate levels of cycling, and we coordinate the cycling programme with a high intensity music-based workout.
  • Djanogly Community Leisure Centre - H.I.I.T
    • A high-intensity interval training workout. You can take it to your own level and involves bodyweight, cardio exercise, and weight training.
  • Harvey Hadden Sports Village - Bums, Tums & Thighs
    • A low-impact conditioning workout with floor work, using exercises that focus on tightening and toning the lower body.
  • Ken Martin Leisure Centre - Yoga
    • A practice which incorporates movement, a range of postures and even meditation. This class combines fitness and strength training with yoga.
  • Victoria Leisure Centre - Pilates
    • A great all-over body and mind workout. It adds flexibility, breathing techniques and core strength modules to your fitness regime. This class is beneficial for helping to improve posture, balance and joint mobility in those who stick to it.
