When I ran for state legislature, I ran against a 30-year incumbent. I was the underdog.

When I ran for governor of South Carolina, I was underfunded and far behind in the polls. I was the underdog.

I’ve run many campaigns. I’ve been the underdog many times. But I’ve never lost an election.

It wasn’t easy. Standing up to the status quo never is. Defeating the longest-serving member of the state legislature was a daunting task.

But I put my head down and focused on one thing: winning.

I know what it takes to win. That’s why I’ve spent these past 18 months endorsing, training, advising, and financially supporting strong conservative candidates across the country.

We can’t go into November assuming Republicans will win.

Yes, Republicans have the advantage. We have momentum and Democrats are plagued by terrible poll numbers.

But it’s not that simple. If it were, Democrats wouldn’t be pouring millions of dollars into districts across the country.

Each race — all 435 seats are up in the House and 35 seats are up in the Senate — is driven by real people trying to make an important change.

There isn’t going to be a Republican sweep unless we help conservative candidates win their races. That means helping conservatives who are in the lead and underdogs who are often discounted.

It means fighting for the conservative trailblazers in districts where Democrat incumbents have been in power for 30+ years.

It means standing beside conservatives who are slowly gaining momentum and edging out Democrats in states no one ever thought could go red.

It means fighting for bold conservative leaders who can change the course of America’s future.
