John,

The Happy Diner, my dad’s restaurant in Billings, MT, that’s where it all started.

That’s where my dad showed me the true value of a dollar, and it is where I learned that working-class folks like you and I have to scrape the bottom of the pie tin just to make it by.

Can I count on you to chip in $50 to help me fight for working-class folks in Congress?

The diner is also where I held my first job at the ripe age of eight! I made 25 cents picking up trash off of the blacktop. That didn’t get me very far as a kid and neither does our federal minimum wage of $7.25 - for adults!

And we know women are paid disproportionately less. Right now too many women in Montana make our state minimum wage - an appalling $8.75. Women in our state are making over 19% less than their male counterparts. Unacceptable.

Will you chip in $50 to make sure we can secure equal pay and a living wage for all Montanans?

Thank you and together we rise!
