Mohammed Wali Zazi, 66, who was a naturalized citizen, was removed from the U.S. and sent to Afghanistan by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Zazi was convicted of visa fraud, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to obstruct justice in February 2012.

The U.S. Magistrate Judge revoked Zazi’s naturalization in November 2018, and his Certificate of Naturalization was canceled.
