Friend, growing up, I watched my father, a union ironworker who also worked in the New Mexico Legislature, fight tirelessly to bring attention to the things he knew were wrong. My father was an unwavering voice for the voiceless.
When I first began my career of public service – first as the U.S. representative for New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District and now as your senator – I made giving a voice to the voiceless a priority in my work, just like my father.
Thanks to the feedback that I’ve received from people like you, I’ve been able to zero in on the issues that actually matter to New Mexicans: creating good-paying jobs, expanding quality health care throughout our state, preserving our natural resources and sacred sites, building a clean energy economy and uplifting the middle class.
But, friend, I haven’t heard your voice yet. That’s why my team put together this quick priorities survey so I can understand how to better fight for you and your loved ones, but this survey locks at midnight tonight.
So please, will you take 60 seconds now to share your top priorities and concerns with me? This information will help ensure that every unique and beautiful voice in New Mexico is heard.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.
Con gratitud,
Ben Ray
