Friend,
Donald Trump’s economy is leaving working families behind.
Since virtually the first day of his administration, Donald Trump and his cabinet have been systematically working to undermine labor protections that have taken a century to build. But together we’re fighting back to strengthen labor unions and raise the wages of all working people.
I helped start EPI over 30 years ago to ensure that working families always have a place at the table. EPI’s research and reports address issues ranging from the challenges of child care costs to the inequities created by skyrocketing CEO pay, and the ramifications of stagnant wages for millions of working families across the United States.
I’m proud to feature EPI research and charts in my own classroom as I prepare the leaders of tomorrow for the challenges ahead.
Join me in supporting EPI as, together, we fight for policies that raise the wages and strengthen the rights of all working people. ([link removed])

Even during a so-called boom period, our economy is failing too many working families, and people are catching on that the Trump tax scam is just exacerbating inequality and uncertainty.
Common wisdom has always been that, as the U.S. economy nears “full employment,” wages would rise as competition for workers grows. But in the wake of Donald Trump’s tax giveaway and erosion of worker protections, wages are still rising too slowly to close the gaping inequalities of the last several decades.
Despite the promises of robust economic growth, Trump’s tax scam has not trickled down to working people. Instead, we’ve seen skyrocketing CEO pay and stock buybacks that enrich wealthy shareholders — not working people.
What would actually help families is enacting progressive economic policies to bolster labor unions, raise the minimum wage, invest in infrastructure, and make child care more affordable.
Together, let’s fight for progressive policies that raise the wages and strengthen the rights of all working people. Donate to EPI today to support the research behind the movement for progressive economic change. ([link removed])
Together, we can move away from a system where wealth, power, and crony capitalism rule our politics and our economy. And we can build an America that works for all of us.
