You may remember that an anonymous donor had offered to match every #GivingTuesday gift received online. Every gift we received from our generous members was matched $2-for-$1 to have triple the impact on our critical work.
Your generosity made this our best #GivingTuesday yet.
#GivingTuesday donations totaled $117,000. And because of the triple match, the final tally was an incredible $351,000!
That’s $351,000 to acquire and protect the lands and waterways that enhance our nation’s quality of life … $351,000 to work with members of urban communities to create the kinds of green spaces they want and need … $351,000 to mobilize support for critical bills and policies to advance parks and public lands legislation … $351,000 to help cities mitigate the most destructive aspects of climate change … $351,000 to ensure that every American has a quality park or green space within a 10-minute walk of home.
