CA-47 contains an equal number of registered Democrats and Republicans, and a third of the voters here state no party preference.

New in Politico: This year’s House races are even tighter after California’s redistricting, which put four Orange County incumbents running in newly drawn districts.
While California as a state may be blue, Orange County is solidly purple. Our district includes some of the most conservative leaning cities in the county, including spots like Huntington Beach and Newport Beach. These areas are currently represented by a Republican in Congress, but because of redistricting they’re now part of the district Katie’s running in.
CA-47 contains an equal number of registered Democrats and Republicans, and a third of the voters here state no party preference. That means our plan is to work hard to turn out Democrats, and show swing voters why Katie’s the only candidate in this race who will fight to effectively lower costs for families, address gun violence, and stand up for the right to an abortion.
Can you make a donation today to help us win this competitive race?
Thanks, John!

Katie is running for re-election in California’s 47th district, which includes Irvine and coastal Orange County. This purple district contains an equal number of Democrats and Republicans and is a must-win for Democrats. Consider pitching in today so we have the resources to keep Katie in Congress fighting for working people.
