Now that we're halfway through 2022, many SPLC supporters are using a
Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for their IRAs to battle social
injustices. Will you join them?

Here are three reasons to make your impact today:

* IRA gifts make an immediate impact. If you're over 70
½ with a traditional IRA, an IRA gift is a powerful way
to support the SPLC's mission, in real-time.

* IRA gifts have tax advantages. For those 72 and older,
it's a compassionate way to fulfill your 2022 RMD, without
paying extra taxes.

* IRA gifts are beneficial - even during a down market. Your
RMD is calculated on the closing balance of the account at the
end of 2021 - when the market was more bullish - so
your RMD and the taxes you'll have to pay on it may feel
higher than usual. Now is a great time to get ahead and tap into
this form of giving, fulfill your requirement and avoid
increasing your taxable income.

SPLC's tax information will already appear, and any other
instructions will be clear and easy to follow. However, please note
that to complete your Qualified Charitable Distribution, you'll
