Next week, I’m going on a summer road trip with my friend Stephannie, the executive director of Emerge Arkansas.

Emerge Arkansas is a group working to elect more Democratic women at *every* level of government – and as an Emerge Alum, I can’t say enough good things about this group. (If you want to learn more and directly support Emerge - they’re looking for trip sponsors!)

I’ve already told you I will use this campaign platform to support Democrats running in all four corners of our state. Sometimes that looks like knocking on doors or speaking at an event, and on this trip, it looks like encouraging Arkansans to stand up and run for office.

We’ve got 1,161 miles to travel over the next eight days – and tens of thousands more miles to go over the next few months.

We’re meeting dozens of people at every stop and building a lasting Democratic community here in Arkansas. I’m so grateful to be an Emerge Alum, and I want to keep our foot on the gas so we can build off the momentum of this trip, but I could use a hand to sustain this effort.
