We are just under FOUR months away from this fall’s crucial midterm election. We know how important it is to protect our congressional majorities from GOP takeover, but it’s not just a question of voting Democratic.

When it comes to climate change, we need leaders in office who not only acknowledge the threat of climate change, but will act based on the science to tackle it head on.

Acting on the science means rapidly transitioning away from fossil fuels, ending fossil fuel subsidies, halting new, deadly extraction projects and ending the fossil fuel industry’s stranglehold on our political system.

With so little time left to act, this election will in many ways determine the future of climate action in our country – it’s just that simple.

We need to do everything we can to elect climate champions and cut ties with the fossil fuel industry. Without significant climate action, we can’t protect our planet or its people.
