Hi John, PFLAG National is proud to honor International Nonbinary People’s Day today on July 14, a day to support nonbinary people and celebrate the diversity of the nonbinary community. In one of the worst years on record for anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, this year’s Nonbinary People’s Day is more important than ever. The latest attacks targeting transgender kids, including nonbinary kids, and their parents in particular have been devastating to PFLAG families. But we’re fighting back. Last Friday, PFLAG National went back to court in PFLAG v. Abbott. Represented by our friends at Lambda Legal, ACLU, and ACLU of Texas, we’re asking the court to issue a second injunction blocking Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) investigations of PFLAG families who are supporting their transgender children with gender-affirming health care. In honor of Nonbinary People’s Day, give a gift to PFLAG National and help support our nonbinary loved ones and their families in every state where their rights are threatened. Your gift will strengthen PFLAG chapter support efforts in creating more inclusive spaces for nonbinary people and their families. You’ll support expanding our educational resources, like PFLAG Academy Online learning sessions like What the +?: Understanding and Supporting Expansive LGBTQ+ Identities. And you’ll fuel critical advocacy efforts to ensure we’re living our mission of creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. Please donate today so that nonbinary people and all our LGBTQ+ loved ones are safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved with the resources they need. Thank you for honoring our nonbinary loved ones and staying strong for the LGBTQ+ community. With thanks, |
