Hello,
When my friends and I were graduating from law school, a lot of them were choosing between working on Wall Street or K Street.
I picked a job on Bridge Street in White River Junction instead, far from those big finance and lobbying hubs—and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I still remember my first-day-of-work jitters. I didn’t know anyone in town, but before long, White River Junction became home. It’s where I started my career, and it’s where I got to know—and fell in love with—Vermont values: self-reliance, mutual support, and cooperation built on trust.
There’s so much to love about Vermont. It is full of natural beauty and hardworking people fighting for their families every day. It’s the honor of my life to represent this state in Congress.
And now I’m asking this team to come together to help ensure we keep this seat—and the Senate—in Democratic hands. There’s a lot on the line, and we have a lot of work to do.
That’s why I’m asking: Can you pitch in $5 to this critically important Senate race today?

I’m always inspired by the way Vermonters come together to solve problems. We focus on solutions, not who gets the credit. That’s the Vermont way. That’s how I’ve gotten things done as Vermont’s congressman, and how I’ll get things done if I’m elected to the Senate.
But Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans see things differently. They divide people for their own political gain instead of working across the aisle to get things done for working families. They’re fighting for failure, and that won’t change if they retake the majority.
I’m focused on ensuring Vermont’s working families can get quality, affordable child care and paid family leave, passing a Green New Deal, lowering health care and prescription drug costs, enshrining the right to abortion in federal law, protecting voting rights and our democracy, and delivering results.
But none of that can happen if we lose this race.
Thanks so much,
Peter
