"[Abortion rights] in Minnesota are only safe as long as we have a governor such as Tim Walz and a legislature that will protect abortion rights, so this election is more important than ever."

– Sarah Stoesz, CEO of Planned Parenthood North Central

John,

The consequences of this election couldn’t be more clear. If the MN GOP flips us red in November, Minnesota will go from being a regional safe haven for reproductive freedom to one of the most restricted states for abortion rights in the entire country.

Now that Donald Trump’s 6-3 Supreme Court majority has cleared the way for their extreme agenda by overturning Roe v. Wade, Republicans across the country are racing to criminalize reproductive freedom as quickly as they can.

Scott Jensen, Governor Walz’s right-wing Republican opponent, has pledged to ban abortion outright if he’s elected. MN GOP legislators introduced a Texas-style abortion ban on the very first day of this year’s legislative session.

The Minnesota DFL is leading the statewide effort to protect reproductive freedom at the ballot box this November. It’s a big job, and we need all the help we can get – especially right now.

To keep up with our ambitious direct voter contact goals, we still need to raise $13,671 by tomorrow night. John, can you rush a donation that works for you today to help us keep Minnesota pro-choice?

Thank you,

Minnesota DFL
