John,
Two weeks ago, Michael Bennet secured the Democratic nomination in Colorado's primary election and will be running to defend his Senate seat in November.
In 2009, Michael Bennet was working as a Superintendent for Denver Public Schools when he was appointed to fill a vacancy in the U.S. Senate for Colorado. At the time, Republicans called him the "accidental senator." After years of service and a long record of accomplishment in the Senate, now he’s known as one of Washington's top leaders and change-makers.
Throughout his years in the Senate, Michael Bennet has built a reputation for listening to Coloradans, letting their needs guide his agenda in Washington, and working across the aisle to address Colorado's and our nation’s greatest challenges, including child poverty, education, climate change, immigration, health care, and national security.
With the Senate majority on the line this election cycle, we need to make sure that ALL our seats are protected and that we can focus on expanding our majority. If we lose Michael Bennet's seat, we risk losing not only a proven leader, but also our Democratic majority.
Will you help us make sure that Michael Bennet has all the resources he needs to win his election in November? Split a contribution of $10 or whatever you can between our campaigns right now >>
