I was proud to join my colleague Representative Jim Banks in authoring a Fox News op-ed last week.

We’ve given Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas every chance. But he has allowed the crisis at our border to spiral more and more out of control. He has abdicated his duty. He must be impeached.

Mayorkas’ job description is clear - PROTECT THE HOMELAND. Leaving the southern border wide open is the exact opposite of protecting the homeland, which is why he must be impeached.

Mayorkas and the Biden administration must be held accountable. Republicans must take back the House this November and hold an impeachment vote before the crisis gets any worse.
