We want to make sure that you saw this note from Ann – it has been a whole year since we launched and we are so proud of how far Team Roe has come in this last year.
So much has been accomplished and we don't think Ann is bragging enough about how far we've come together:
We raised over $325,000 in the last year.
We collected over 2,000 signatures across every county in the district so that Ann would appear on the ballot.
We've gone to nearly 50 events, fundraisers, and meet and greets around the district and neighboring areas.
We've spoken to countless voters from all walks of life, telling us their stories and what they care about the most.
Team Roe has been working hard to get us to this point and all our efforts are starting to pay off. This campaign has been underestimated, and while we cannot match Bryan Steil's corporate donors, we have something better – and that is the people power backing this movement.
We hope Bryan Steil is scared because we're going to be hitting him with everything we've got, and if the last year has shown us anything it's that we've got A LOT!
And it really is because of you: your support, your donations, your volunteer hours and conversations with friends around town. You are the backbone of this campaign and we can't thank you enough.

Hi friends — WOW!
I cannot believe it has been one year since this campaign launched.
It has been an amazing journey so far. We have grown so much, and all this would not have been possible without you, our incredible supporters, who have joined our movement and believe in our vision for WI-01.
We are building a better future for our district – this is just the beginning.
I want to take a moment to reflect on the year we've spent together on the campaign trail. Last year when I decided to run for office, it was because I was worried. Our democracy is under attack, climate change poses an existential threat to our entire planet, and it's getting harder and harder for our working families to get by.
Let me make this clear: at the age of fifty-five, I am not running for the blood sport of politics. I am running because I am appalled at our current representation. We need representatives who support small businesses, not work on behalf of companies who are shipping jobs overseas.
We need representatives who serve the people in their communities.
Bryan Steil could care less. His priorities are to his corporate donors, even at the expense of our district. He's shown us, through his words, actions, and votes, that he won't fight for Wisconsin families, schools, businesses, or for a better tomorrow.
Bryan has been grossly negligent of our needs at BEST, and this November, we will be showing him the door.
Our newly drawn maps have made WI-01 one of the most competitive congressional seats this election cycle. And now, with the primary just one month away, I am the only Democrat on the ballot. We have the spotlight, the momentum, the support, and everything it takes to win this.
When we launched a year ago, I had no idea how far we would come. Still, I was optimistic because I knew one thing was true: I'm running because the people of Wisconsin deserve better. Everyone in our district deserves a future where they can afford to look after their families, pay their bills, send their kids to good schools, get quality affordable healthcare, make decisions for their bodies, and chase their dreams.
I am running for you — because it's you that has gotten me this far. So for that, I say thank you.
