Hi JOHN, Yesterday our campaign was the first to put a Democrat on the ballot this fall by submitting more than 500 qualified signatures to the district’s local Boards of Canvassers, with the Secretary of State starting the final validation process.
Our team is the best, so it’s no surprise that we got the job done first. Thank you to everyone who signed my nomination papers, and especially to those who are helping to collect signatures.
This is a front-porch, back-yard, and living room campaign made up of people who just want things to work better. We don’t have trust funds or out-of-state endorsements, we have people who live and work here every day supporting us.
We are also now two months out to the September 13th primary, and I want to encourage you to think about your voting plan. You can visit the RI Secretary of State’s Voter Information Center to make sure you are registered to vote and to find your polling site. You can also request a mail-in ballot by August 23th or vote early.
With gratitude, Joy |
