We’re going to tell you a little secret about politics: Money matters every day, but it matters the most to PACs like ours just three days out of each election year: April 15, July 15, and October 15 – the 3 end-of-quarter FEC report deadlines before the General Election.
These reports are critically important to any political organization in no small part because they’re released to the public for our friends and enemies alike to pick apart … and both sides read them like tea leaves to try to pick winners and losers and decide where to invest their resources.
We’ll get right to the point: The end of 2022’s 2nd quarter is TOMORROW, and we’re still a little more than $14,000 short of our goal.
This is bad news for Democrats running in rural and working-class states and districts who are counting on us to help flip their seats blue in the upcoming midterms!
John, will you chip in any amount today to help us reach our $125,000 quarterly goal?
Whether or not we reach our goal will determine more than just our ability to train grassroots organizers, hire key staff, run targeted advertising, and support our fantastic House and Senate candidates in 2022 … it will determine our viability as an organization in the years to come.
We’ll be honest with you, John – we want No Dem Left Behind not just to survive this quarterly report, but to make a HUGE splash.
We truly believe our mission is vital to the survival of the Democratic Party, and maybe even democracy itself.
We simply can’t afford to turn our backs on rural and working-class voters and abandon them to the Radical Right. Not only is that bad for rural and working-class folks, it’s bad for the rest of America, too.
We’ve seen what happens when the Radical Right gets a little taste of power – all you have to do is look at states like Texas and Florida to know that ceding more Senate and Congressional seats to the Republicans would be a disaster for everyone.
We’ve already lost Roe v. Wade. If we don’t step up now, laws protecting contraception, same-sex relationships, gay marriage, and interracial marriage could be next.
The fact is, the Republican party wants America to return to a much darker time …
… a time when a woman’s place was in the home, barefoot and pregnant.
… a time when LGBTQ+ Americans stayed in the closet and lived a lie or killed themselves trying.
… a time when non-white Americans were literally second-class citizens with separate schools and drinking fountains, and very little chance for advancement in society.
… a time the Radical Right calls – despicably – “The Good Ol’ Days.”
You and I can’t afford to let that happen.
So, John, please contribute whatever you can today to help No Dem Left Behind reach our quarterly fundraising goal.
We have less than 2 days to raise roughly $14,000.
It’s a stretch, but I believe we can do it with your support.
