The countdown to our November general election is on.
Abortion access, addressing gun violence in our communities, tackling the climate crisis, creating sustainable jobs for our economy – it's all going to be on the ballot in New York this November. New Yorkers cannot concede any leverage to extremist Republicans and special interest groups who are attacking our rights nationally.
Governor Hochul and Lt. Governor Delgado will fight back and move New York forward — forward on abortion access, on keeping our communities safe, forward on tackling the climate crisis and creating jobs. National Republicans are sure to start spending tens of millions in order to stop our state from becoming a beacon for our shared goals of opportunity, safety, and prosperity.
If we want to win in November, we need to do more than just show up at the polls.
Each of us has got to talk to our neighbors about the stakes, help friends register to vote online, chip in with a donation here and there, and show up to knock doors or make phone calls
From here on out, each day will be more intense – and more important – than the last.
