Friend,
In Sierra Leone, the rates of maternal and child mortality are some of the highest in the world. It doesn't have to be this way. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are doing everything they can to strengthen local health care systems and save lives—and we need your help >>
In Tonkolili and Bombali districts, MSF teams are helping bolster local health units and providing direct patient care to those most in need. In Kenema district, the MSF Academy for Health Care is training the next generation of Sierra Leone’s medical workforce—which has been slow to recover after years of fighting Ebola and COVID-19.
Friend: The needs of mothers and children in Sierra Leone remain high, and we must be prepared to meet those needs.
