Negotiations for the 2023 Farm Bill in the U.S. Congress have begun. Passed every five years, the farm bill is one of the main opportunities for stakeholders to engage on the the federal policies that shape our food and agricultural system. Supporting regenerative agriculture in the Farm Bill will be vital in the fight against climate change, while also regenerating ecosystems, benefiting farmers and ranchers, and building a more resilient and equitable food system and economy as a whole. ASBN’s Regenerative Agriculture and Justice Working Group has just released a memo outlining priority policy principles for advancing regenerative agriculture in the 2023 Farm Bill. Learn more about this campaign here and add your voice to the growing list of businesses, farmers, and investors calling on Congress to support regenerative, equitable, and just agriculture and food systems!
