The State Legislature is on summer recess until August 1 – which means now is the perfect time to set up an in-district meeting with your lawmakers!

As part of our grassroots organizing efforts, we’re coordinating in-district meetings across California to demonstrate the power of the YIMBY movement – can we count you in?

If you’d be interested in organizing or attending an in-district meeting with your lawmakers, reply to this email to let us know!

We’ll give you all the resources you need to succeed – talking points, fact sheets, and leave-behind materials for each office you visit. All we need is you!

These visits are a fantastic opportunity for you to build a working relationship with your elected officials, and to demonstrate that the movement to end the housing shortage and affordability crisis is booming across our state. Lawmakers love to hear from their constituents, and take it to heart when the people they represent express how they’re being impacted by California’s extreme housing shortage.

If you’re interested in attending or hosting an in-district meeting with your Assemblymember or State Senator, simply reply here and we’ll connect you with others in your district who are also eager to set up a meeting.
