John, in 2020 and 2021, victory in Georgia was decided by the thinnest of margins. We may have momentum right now, but that doesn’t mean we can afford to slow down.
That’s why Stacey is building the most robust grassroots team in Georgia history. We’re going to every corner of the state to lift up every voter who Brian Kemp has left behind. Our strategy is working, but we can’t let up now.
As we travel across the state, it’s clear that Stacey’s positive vision for One Georgia is connecting with voters, but with a race this close, we can’t afford to slow down now. But don’t just take it from us, check out this poll:
Stacey Abrams: 48%
Brian Kemp: 48%
(Quinnipiac)
Politico is reporting that Kemp is massively stepping up his fundraising to try and stop this grassroots team’s momentum. Brian Kemp has made it clear that he will spend whatever it takes and do whatever he has to do to hold onto power this November. If we’re going to fire an incumbent governor, we need to have a strong grassroots team to power our work.
John, the fact that we’ve closed our polling gap with Kemp is proof that our grassroots team has the momentum. But if we learned anything from 2020 and 2021, it’s that Georgia elections can come down to the slightest margins — so we can’t stop fighting for every last vote.
Thank you for all you do,
