Yesterday, Trump went on an unhinged and rambling rant about the Squad, or as he’s nicknamed them, “AOC plus 3.”

Giving a speech for TPUSA, an organization that can’t seem to stop hiring racists for leadership positions, Trump directly attacked each member of the Squad — calling Rashida “a crazed lunatic,” claiming that backlash to Ilhan would win him Minnesota in 2020, and saying that the Squad called Americans “garbage.”

Sure seems like Trump doesn’t like the Squad. So let’s elect another 10, 20, or 30 new Squad members in 2020:

His bizarre and nonsensical attacks make it clear that he’s afraid of what the Squad represents. No matter how hard he attacks them, their following only grows stronger and stronger, because voters know their vision of America includes everyone — no exceptions.

It’s obvious why. Alexandria, Ayanna, Rashida, and Ilhan represent the ideal version of our democracy — one where progressive champions shirk the power of corporate PACs, fight courageously for their communities, and represent their constitutions with integrity.

The Squad is the embodiment of the people-over-profits politics that we’ve been fighting for, and that’s why Trump is so afraid. He’s a relic of the past, of an American democracy that does not work for working-class people.
