We are seeing so many opinions unleashed now that Roe is gone, but the reality is that most people have no idea what abortion is.
Hi John,
We are seeing so many opinions unleashed now that Roe is gone, making abortion one of the most heated topics being discussed today.
But the fact is, most people have no idea what abortion procedures actually are.
Before we launched our “What Is Abortion?” campaign, I took the videos showing each of the four most prevalent abortion procedures to the streets of Berkeley, California.
I asked people:
“What is abortion? Can you describe any of the abortion procedures that are used in this country?”
In the very state that is poised to become a “sanctuary state for abortion”, the average answer I heard was “I have no idea.”
Here are three examples of people I interviewed with their answers before and after watching one of the “What is Abortion?” videos:

This woman told me: “I’m really not totally sure on how they do it… and I don’t really want to know…”
After watching the video, she said on the spot: “Now I am pro-life after seeing that. I never knew how abortion was done.”

When I asked this woman what abortion is, she said: “I wouldn’t… I don’t know.”
After watching, she was visibly distressed and said: “What?! That is sad. That is really, really sad. Yeah… I do change my mind. That is… that is sad.”

This young man gave his best attempt at explaining what happens in an abortion: “They go into their doctor, the doctor does something, and then they come out.”
After watching the video, he realized he then knew the truth: “Now that I know it, I feel like… it’s… it’s the same thing as killing a human.”
John, this is why these “What is Abortion?” videos are so critical at this very moment.
Our culture believes the lie that “choosing abortion” is just an “empowering choice” rather than knowing and understanding it is the poisoning and dismemberment of a tiny child.
BUT what I experienced on the streets of California not long ago is this: when people see the true violent reality of abortion for themselves, opinions change!
This is why we create cutting-edge videos, graphics, and articles, and why we need to spread them to every local community in the U.S. and beyond.
People who defend abortion do not even know what they are fighting for.
We must tell them.
When we do, minds change. Hearts transform. Lives are saved. Motherhood and fatherhood are embraced as a gift, not a burden. And the culture shifts from pro-death to pro-life.
Will you join us in spreading these videos far and wide?
Visit whatisabortion.com ([link removed] ) and share the videos with everyone you know.
Specifically, call your local pregnancy resource center, your schools, and your churches to make sure they are using these videos in their services and curriculums.
Together, one mind changed at a time, we will end abortion and build a lasting culture that cherishes life.
