A lot has happened in the past few weeks that underscores the importance of the coming elections. 

In a matter of days, the Supreme Court handed down decisions overturning Roe v. Wade, limiting states’ ability to address gun violence, and limiting the EPA’s ability to fight climate change.

Extreme GOP politicians are seizing this moment. 

An Ohio abortion ban, passed by GOP-controlled legislature, went into effect hours after the Supreme Court’s decision. Ohio’s Republican governor signed a bill into law that allows teachers to bring guns to the classroom after only 24 hours of training. 

Our health. Our safety. Our planet. Our freedoms. They’re all on the ballot this November.
