Today I just watched as the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee voted to approve Rep. McCollum’s Boundary Waters protection bill. But it was a very close call.

Congressional copper mining proponents spouted outright lies and used blatant greenwashing tactics and misinformation about the threat of toxic copper mining near the Boundary Waters. But we weren’t surprised by these cheap tactics.

Anti-Boundary Waters forces are counting on you and I to become fatigued, lose momentum, and give up in this fight. We CAN NOT give up. We need you to stay with us in this fight.
