The August 2nd Primary Election is 19 Days Away!
Be a Prepared Voter before August 2nd and know your new district numbers. The new district numbers are on your Voter Identification Card. Be an Informed Voter by reading the information available about the candidates running in your district and about other ballot measures before you go to the polls or fill out your absentee ballot. If you haven’t had an opportunity to meet the candidates, most have a campaign website.
You can view a sample ballot at your city or township clerk’s office. You can also view it on-line at the Michigan Voter Information Center, https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us
The Lapeer Republican Office has campaign signs and campaign literature for many of the candidates.
The GOP office will be open tomorrow and you can stop by and pick up campaign signs and see what other information we may have.

The Eastern Michigan Fair will be Tuesday, July 26 to Saturday, July 30th. This is a great local family event you’ll want to attend. The Lapeer GOP has had a booth at the fair for many years and we will be there again this year. We offer free educational material you may be interested in. Come by and say “hello” and meet our volunteers! See you at the Fair!
