We know we ask you to pitch in to our campaign every so often, but do you know why?

We ask because it was thousands of $5 donations that helped Tammy win reelection in 2018 by double digits in a state that went to Donald Trump two years earlier.

It was $5 that helped us flip the Senate majority in 2020, allowing us to pass once-in-a-generation legislation like the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to repair our roads and bridges, expand broadband access, and fight climate change.

And it was $5 that allowed Congress to pass this historic legislation to modernize our infrastructure with Tammy’s strong Buy American policies — creating jobs and supporting American business by ensuring that the federal government buys what America makes.

We know five bucks might not seem like a lot, especially when you compare it to National Republicans’ record-breaking fundraising hauls. But to us, every $5 donation makes a huge difference — it’s what sustains our work to protect our Democratic majorities so we can keep making progress for working families.

Now, as you probably know, we’ve got a tough fight ahead of us. Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight is reporting that Republicans are slightly favored to win the Senate, and the GOP is spending tens of millions of dollars to tilt the scales in their favor. If we’re going to protect and expand our majority in November, it’s going to take a lot of folks pitching in what they can, when they can. That’s why we’re asking:
