There are three things you should know about Derrick Van Orden, the radical Republican running for Wisconsin’s third Congressional district.
ONE: He is vehemently opposed to reproductive freedom. Van Orden calls himself “100% pro-life” and even equates abortion to “genocide.” Now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, reproductive rights are on the ballot in November. We cannot afford to allow the GOP to gain another vote for extremist abortion bans in Congress.
TWO: He participated in the January 6th insurrection - using funds from his failed 2020 congressional campaign. We can’t trust him to advocate for our democracy or our right to vote, and it’s clear that he would not respect the will of the people in elections to come.
THREE: He is an anti-LGBTQ+ bigot. He called a pride display at the Prairie du Chien library “propaganda” and made a teenage staff member feel unsafe.
But Van Orden has already raised over $2.6 million for his campaign. In order for Deb to overcome the odds and defeat Van Orden, we need our entire grassroots team to step up.
