We all have our awkward baby photos. I’m no different. Exhibit A:

I clearly had baseball aspirations at a young age, John! I still love playing and watching the game.

But sometimes, life throws you on a different path. And right now that path is (hopefully) leading to Iowa’s State Capitol where I’ll be your new representative for Iowa’s State House District 1. 

We are facing a very critical Iowa fundraising deadline on July 14th. We’re trying to raise $3,000 for our big campaign goal. Can you help us over the finish line?

I never thought I’d be running for public office when I was growing up. But that’s what growing up is all about. Figuring out what we want to do with our lives and the kind of person we want to become. 

I know that I want to serve my community and do whatever I can to help those around me who are struggling. So I threw my hat in the ring for the Iowa Legislature where important laws get passed that directly affect my neighbors. 

Iowa Democrats need to win as many seats as possible in the Iowa Legislature, John. Right now, Iowa Republicans control the governorship, and both the House and the Senate in the legislature. 

Will you chip in $7 and help my campaign meet our goal for Iowa’s big July 14th fundraising deadline? Every single dollar will get us closer to meeting our goal.
