On January 6 I watched a band of radical-right insurrectionists storm the Capitol in an attempt to overturn a free and fair election. And, to make matters worse, these insurrectionists were inspired by people like my opponent Marjorie Taylor Greene. 

That was the moment I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines for a moment longer. So, I decided to throw my hat in the ring and run against Marjorie Taylor Greene for Congress.

To put it simply: I don’t believe that insurrectionists should serve in our government.
