I'm Jen Jordan. I'm a state senator, a lawyer, a mother, and a proud Georgian. I was raised in Dodge County by a single mom who worked as a hairdresser. I went to college on a HOPE scholarship, worked three jobs to support myself, and became the first in my family to graduate college. I've fought to protect the right to vote, fought to shut down a plant that released cancer-causing chemicals into the air, and fought for women’s rights.
I'm running for Attorney General because Georgia families need a voice and a fighter on their side. I'll be a lawyer for the people, and I will fight every day to protect their health, safety, and fundamental rights.
The stakes of this election could not be higher. Our next Attorney General matters for the future of reproductive healthcare in the state, the integrity of our democracy, and the ability of Georgians to have a voice in their government. My opponent, Republican incumbent Chris Carr, has repeatedly put corporate special interests before the people of Georgia. He led a group that encouraged its supporters to march on the Capitol in the lead-up to January 6, 2021. And he publicly advocated for Roe v. Wade to be overturned and is defending an unconstitutional six-week abortion ban in Georgia.
Carr is out of sync with the majority of Georgians, and he's forgotten what it means to be the people's lawyer. We need to be able to take the fight to him immediately.
So please, donate any amount that you can. Georgia will be a top political battleground in 2022, and our race will be close the whole way through. What we raise now will matter down the line.
