Final 2022 MIH RFP and Application Released

KHRC has released the final 2022 Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Moderate Income Housing (MIH) Program, along with the July 2022 MIH application. Applications will be due on Friday, September 30, and awards will be announced in November 2022.

I don't usually include emergency preparedness information, but thought this might be of interest to those who are interested in how emergency preparedness plans are created.? The term, "Access and Functional Needs" is used to describe people who have disabilities, speak other languages or need supports and services that are not typical.??

National Access and Functional Needs Symposium

Wanted to share with you information about an upcoming event you may find of interest. The National Access and Functional Needs Symposium will take place next week, July 19th and 20th from noon to 2pm CDT daily. The National AFN Symposium will bring the disability community together with emergency managers, disaster planners, and first responders from across the country in an online forum to foster an environment of trust and understanding vital to advancing the mission of access and functional needs throughout the nation.
